I think this is the biggest problem in politics today (from both sides). People seem to only want to watch/read/hear what they agree with. I think that's a big reason for the demonization of those who disagree with them.
I guess the marketplace of ideas has no value for most people.

 

I couldn't agree more. Oh, and the 24-hour news cycle doesn't help, either.
