    it wasn't anything that took away from the story, but from what i remember, he wrote that gordon beckham was just filling in for regular third baseman josh fields, but beckham's been starting at third every day for like two months and tearing it up.

    there was a misspelling of dewayne wise's name, but everyone does that. that's an editing mistake, i bet, because it was spelled right once.

    still nice read all around. jenkins was the best addition to SI in a while when he came aboard.

    Agreed. I was surprised how refreshing it was considering the event had happened a while back. I read it again today and it's damn good. Jenkins nailed the essence of a perfect game.
