Bentley is a Cleveland guy who grew up cheering for the Browns. It was his dream to play for the Browns. He signed with them, practiced one time, got near-deathly ill, got healthy again, was ready to play, and essentially was bumped out. That's why I feel sorry for him.

Yes, Bentley is rich. I don't feel sorry for him for that.

Those are two separate issues, and if you can't see that, well, then I can't help you dude.

I suppose the fair trade off for Patrick Swayze getting pancreatic cancer is that he has a lot of money.

He was a heckuva player with the Saints.

You're right. Having pancreatic cancer = getting sick and getting better. Spot on.

    Wow ... just wow.

There is no trade-off for cancer. None.

And this Saints fan would welcome him back with open arms...

    if he's healthy.

  8. There are quite a few Browns who have come down with staph after team-overseen treatments/surgeries the last few years.

I'm trying to find a list, but it's significantly longer than just Bentley and Jurevicius.

  9. I'm awfully glad the Eagles were outbid for him.

I'd feel sorry for Ohio State and Browns fans for no reasons other than they are Ohio State and Browns fans

    Sam,

Obviously you did not read the whole thread or else you certainly would have noticed I was being facetious.

I read every word. It was still a very poor comparison. Very poor.
