Every time I think of Wingo I also think of the "This is SportsCenter" commercial from many years ago when Jerry Stackhouse couldn't stop laughing about his name.

Speaking of ESPN, is Berman’s halftime schtick a selling point on MNF? It tells me to change the channel for 15 minutes

I think it's a chance for the other talent to pee and a chance for viewers to get another beer.

Good one. But it can't touch the New Jersey Devils mascot in the elevator.

Pete Carroll is 68 percent against the spread in preseason for his career. John Harbaugh is 67 percent. Just gotta know who cares about the games.

Saw a promo for Jimmy V week - is Linda Cohn the last person at the network who worked with Valvano? VanPelt and Greenberg came over after he died.

    https://nypost.com/2020/12/16/espn-star-tom-rinaldi-bolting-for-fox-sports/

Rinaldi doesn't seem to really fit Fox Sports' "in your face" vibe. Is Fox Sports rebuilding their website or are they still video only? It does make me laugh when people try and paint this as ESPN is "reeling" or whatever. Rupert sold most of his US media empire to Disney, and you little about that.

At this point Rinaldi’s stuff almost feels paint-by-numbers. Still often affecting, but calculated and predictable.
