    Sadly, nothing in journalism is a "one-time only process".

    Any place that says differently is lying or at least sugarcoating things...

    Good people were laid off by TWT. Good people are being laid off by TWE, which looks like it's beating TWT to the punch by ditching everything but politics. My thoughts and prayers go out to all, those of us tossed overboard and those still riding the waves...

    You know, I originally misread that story to be The Wash Times. Obviously one layoff is no better than the other, but I know a lot more people at the Times. Hate admitting this, but I'm sort of relieved I was dumb enough to misread it. Hope the Examiner people find something better somewhere.
