    As stated in an above post, the colleges beat is where this symbiotic relationship will prove to be most beneficial.
    People in the Carolinas care about the ACC. Period.

    Sucks to hear about Sherry Johnson, and the big impact her absence will create for both newspapers.

    To answer JayFarrar's question: I think just about every (good) sports editor in the country is pretty darn hands-on --- or should be. Exceptions might be LAT and NYT, if even there.
