    It sounds like the only thing Kiffin did was not change his license.

    I'm not sure it was a police cover-up either. Sounds like the police weren't involved except after the fact.

    Can we change the headline to:

    Lane Kiffin at periphery of lawsuit alleging insurance scam?

    IIRC, wasn't Kiffin alleged to have "company" in the car with him at the time? To wit, the former Georgia AD would have appreciated said choice of company?

    Isn't it a crime to leave the scene of an accident? Even if it was single-car, did he cause property damage?
