Law school applications drop from 100,000 to 54,000

    As long as all those won't-be lawyers don't apply to the Plain Dealer or start repairing espresso machines, I applaud them for heading to greener pastures.

    Law school has become a huge scam. The tuition costs have far exceeded a rational point and schools are taking advantage of the ease with which students can get cheap debt and their gullibility to believe they'll be in the small percent of students who will make enough to pay it off.

    The sharp decline in applications is a direct result of the difficulties members of the classes of 2010, 2011 and 2012 have had finding employment.
