    Not to mention that if big markets were the real reason, the LA teams would on almost as often.

    No, but the West Coast is that problem... We must bear the continual barrage of Colorado-Arizona second games...

    To get back to the ombudsman [ombudsperson?] issue, it's seemed like a hollow gesture from Day One on ESPN's part, because they've never, ever shown that they have any interest at all in what that person [and by extension, the viewers] has to say.

    For me, the solution is simple--I watch ESPN for live events [college football, college hoops, some MLB] and nothing more. Sad that it's become that way, but. . .
