DeNiro (with Mitchum supporting). Guess I should now go pick off the original too.

There's a lot going on in that movie. A lot. It doesn't work.

I'd argue the movie is attempting to critique the environmentalists. It's attempting to critique a lot of things, for that matter.

    An update:
Just saw the trailer today for The Old Man & The Gun.
Redford could make a movie of him doing my dishes and I would watch it.
    Plus Glover.
    Double flick Saturday.

Please tell me if you see my aunt. :) She's an extra in the wedding reception scene. She'll be nibbling cake and sipping on what's supposed to be champagne. She the filming took over 8 hours, but, at the start of the day, the extras were informed this wasn't a catered event and the one piece of cake and one glass of sparkling whatever it was had to last the whole shoot.

I have no way to see it now, but I'm really looking forward to it. Hoping to catch it while on vacation in January.

I saw Lady Bird on kanopy.com, a streaming service you can use with a library card.

    I love 'Cabin Boy.'
    Didn't realize it was '94, though. I would've thought a couple-few years earlier.
    It's genius.

Yeah, they have all the A24 movies on there now -- The Witch, First Reformed, and Moonlight among their offerings.
