You are correct. The limit is down to 8 out-of-state players for football.

According to JucoWeekly.org, Franklin played in all nine games for EMCC last year. He was 64-100 for 733 yards, 7 TDs, 2 INTs. Also had 43 rushes for 455 yards and 9 TDs.

    The more you know....

EMCC's website actually has an excellent stats section, as you'd expect for a championship-level program.

2015 EMCC Football Schedule - East Mississippi Athletics

    Here's Franklin by game:

    8/27 vs. Southwest (69-20 win) — Passing: 18-25-186 3 TD, 0 INT; Rushing: 4-40
    9/3 vs. Co-Lin (31-24 loss) — Passing: 0-2-0-0; Rushing: 2-(-3)
    9/10 vs. Coahoma (69-0 win) — Passing: 3-8-15; Rushing: 4-46
    9/17 vs. Northeast (56-7 win) — Passing: 6-12-99, 2 TD, 0 INT; Rushing: 4-22
9/24 vs. Itawamba (48-24 win) — Passing: 13-22-156, 1 TD, 1 INT; Rushing: 7-40 1 TD (EMCC was up 31-0 when Franklin came in)
    10/1 vs. Jones (49-7 win) — Passing: 8-13-66; Rushing: 4-36, TD
10/8 vs. Holmes (44-28 win) — Passing: 3-6-43; Rushing: 4-65, 2 TDs (Franklin did appear to make a difference in this game, as one of his TD runs made it 14-13 and the other made it 21-20)
    10/15 vs. Northeast (49-16 win) — Passing: 3-6-49, 0 TD, 1 INT; Rushing: 4-33
10/22 vs. Delta (48-0 win) — Passing: 10-16-119, 1 TD, 0 INT: Rushing: 10-172, 5 TDs (game called late first half due to the brawl)

So again, the only games where Franklin was a true difference-maker when the game was in doubt were Holmes and Delta (which was a totally over-matched opponent). Otherwise, he was playing in garbage time. Even Southwest, in which he played very well, EMCC was up by 2 TDs late in the third quarter when he came in.

Roberts was 159-for-243 passing, for 2,197 yards with 23 TDs and 2 INTs. He rushed 50 times for 243 yards and 3 TDs.

Great stuff. Clearly Franklin had a much larger body of work than was portrayed on the show
What is the possibility that Auburn warehoused him there for season.

Sean White hasn't practiced all week for Auburn and not likely to play today. JF III gets his chance against Vandy.
