Less than one hour to vote. Just send me a pm. It's a right race.

Re: Deep South gathering: Not enough Bourbon in Kentucky

Alright, folks. The votes are in and we'll have a gathering in Louisville 9-11 August when the Bats are in town on Saturday. I'm thinking maybe a party Friday night, museum/Bourbon Trail Saturday, followed by the game and more debauchery.

If you're in, send me a PM by, lets say 19 July. I'll handle the downtown hotel reservation (you can pay me via PayPal prior to the order) and we'll group-think the activities once we get a firm number.

    I'm pretty stoked.

I've already put in for the 9th off work. I'll be out of commission for a few hours that night, but I'll be back for the afterparty. Then Saturday and whatever people want to do early on Sunday. :)

Alright, folks. Not quite last call, but if you plan on going joining us on the Louisville gathering, I need to know.

I have three and a possible, including me.

Rooms in the downtown area look to be about $150/night. If I have a verbal from you by Friday morning, I'll send you my paypal address and you can forward me hotel room money (I assume we'll double occupy), and I'll book the rooms using my AAA rate, which is generally about $10-15 cheaper than normal rates.

The weekend was a success! I didn't write down quotes, but there were plenty.

I had a blast. MysteryMeat and I found some good beers and great Bourbon on Friday. Easily in to the several hundreds of bucks for the night, I'd bet.

Took in a Bourbon tour at Heaven Hill on Saturday, along with two great meals. Hit the game Saturday night with Ace, then Bluegrass Brewing Company for a coupe of beers and some of the hottest wings I've ever put in my mouth ;) . I mean, these things were off the charts.

Another awesome breakfast closed it out.
