    The Raisman piece was some sort of weird satire. I'm not sure what they were satirizing.

    They should send Greg Couch a check for the Missy Franklin story. It was a Deadspin-level quasi-plagiarism job.

    There was once a Twitter handle that was something like #SlatePitches that would throw out satirical headlines like that.

    FWIW, their podcasts are excellent.

    That is amazing and sad. Long for the days when Christopher Hutchens actually made that place somewhat interesting.

    You can tell just from their headlines that their way of covering the Olympics is to toss out click-bait stories based on what they see on TV and social media.

    Lazy, snarky, cheap and probably really successful.
