Las Vegas: Riviera Hotel & Casino

    Stayed there this summer. Not bad. I thought the location was decent (near airport, not a bad walk to any other place on Strip). Rooms were pretty standard, and there are kids around of course. But having three myself, I didn't think it was a big deal.

    The cocktail waitresses were all around even on weekdays. Rarely had to gamble more than five minutes for a drink. Their lounge had some good live music at night, and if you're short on money, the food court actually had some decent prices.

    I'm sure there are better places, but I didn't mind the Excalibur.
