Three straight weeks we've heard he's about to be fired.

Is he about to be fired?

    Yes.

Still shocked Linehan was let go before Kiffin.

Davis keeps trying to get Kiffin to resign so he's not on the hook for anything. That's the only reason I think Kiffin might last longer than a week or two.

Didn't Davis teach Dean Singleton everything he knows?

    That's some organization in Oakland.

The really funny thing is that Kiffin has the Raiders playing competitive football.

The fact they haven't quit on the season is remarkable. Especially after quitting in the second half against denver in Week 1, and following that with a pair of tough, tough losses each of the last two weeks.

And considering what a culture of losing these young players have all played in for their entire careers. -

Against my better wishes, there has apparently actually been movement on this. Though not as far as Kiffin's been told.

The one thought that springs to mind is that Kiffin is telling them exactly how it is each and every day, and they're going out and laying it on the line for a coach they want to play for.

The fact that he's standing up to crazy Al, not resigning and telling the team he's not going to quit on them may go a long way in that locker room.

It sounds corny, bad inspirational movie corny, but that's all I got.
