More money always makes you *more* of whatever you are.

If you like travel, you'll see the world.

If you like chocolate, you'll take a bath in it.

If you like heroin, you'll be dead by the weekend.

    Unfortunately, that's never been addressed.

True. You rarely hear about big lotter winners setting up a charity to provide free college for the whole town. More likely they are fighting with family members and making it rain at strip clubs.

The difference between the lottery winners and Lamar is that Lamar has an agent who is supposed to advise him on matters of money. Lamar has one of the big ones, Jeff Schwartz.

Substance abuse addiction trumps pretty much anything, including the most powerful agents.

Here's my example on "more money makes you more on whatever you are".

Likely in the next 10-15 years, I'll probably take over a substantial amount of real estate in Florida and Arizona. Not because of anything that I've done positively in my life, other than be the only child of divorced parents and the only nephew of my childless and very affluent aunt and uncle.

Once I cash out those properties (except for one), I already know that I'll probably spend half a football season losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Las Vegas unless I have enough self-control to NOT go. My best move would be to pay off any college debt for my kids first.

I just heard yesterday Lamar Odom has two kids. Jesus fucking Christ, what a role model for your children.

Yet people here have zero problem making excuses for him.

You're an honest man. And, um, can I go with you to Vegas?

As for Odom, an AP story said he paid $75,000 for a four-day stay at the brothel. That just sounds sad.
