    The Lakers tried Rambis once before, back in 99, didn't work out all that well. And Rambis was also a loser in his stint as the T-Wolves head coach (albeit with little talent). So he doesn't exactly have the track record to suggest he can turn anything around.

    Mitch Kupchak, regarding Phil Jackson: It would be "negligent not to be aware he's out there."

    Nothing like dogging it so your coach gets fired. Gotta love the NBA!

    Hey, did you hear? The Lakers fired Mike Brown!

    If you weren't aware, you haven't tuned in to ESPN for 10 seconds. The left side of their telecast, where they list what's coming up, you would think the team plane crashed into the ocean or something.

    * Lakers fire Brown
    * Kobe's reaction to Brown firing
    * LeBron's reaction to Brown firing
    * What's wrong with the Lakers?
    * Dwight Howard farted
    * Jackson returning to Lakers?

    Give it a fucking break, ESPN.

    Seriously, it's stupid to fire a pro coach two weeks into a season. I mean, you had the whole offseason to get your house in order. And you didn't see this coming?

    So now you wake up one fine November morning and decide you need a different coach? Or maybe Jimmy was mad that Mitt Romney lost.

    This was a tragic hire. He'd done such a good job.

    There again, I hate the Lakers, so before you ask "WTH?"...note that.

    It is stupid to not admit a mistake and carry on as if nothing is wrong.

    What health issue took Bird away from the Pacers?
