Today's edition is the final one the Lafayette Journal & Courier will print as a full broadsheet. Starting with Monday's paper, the J&C will print in the more compact "Berliner" format. Four sections in full color. Supposedly the first in the country (I think it's common in Europe.)

  3. How does this format differ from the current, narrower web?

It's even smaller. Think Chicago Reader.
