Yes, Cindi had a lot of hits.

Madona's had tons of hits, but does anyone really think her music is any more serious than Lady GaGa or any other pop star?

Yes, she's had a long career, but people will still be listening to the Beatles and quoting Bob Dylan long after they've forgotten about Madonna.

Also, at 5'2", if she has a small frame, 100lbs is just slightly under weight.

The way some people react to skinny people is just as bad as any discrimination against heavy people.

Should she encourage not eating? No. But there's nothing wrong with being skinny s long as you don't have an eating disorder.

This beast is this year's version of Amy Winehouse: a marginally-talented performer who stretches her 14:59 to maybe 19 minutes by going out in public looking like Salvador Dali's diarrhea attack.

Not. Even. Close. We've had numerous discussions on here about her. And in each one, those who actually know what they're talking about try explaining to the rest of you that she's actually extremely talented as an artist and also isn't close to the trainwreck, personally, that Winehouse was/is.

She's already far ahead of Amy Winehouse in terms of brain cells and hit singles. Plus, Lady Gaga doesn't use her geometric hair to hide drug paraphernalia. Check out the link that Diabeetus provided...she's good. She's got a really pretty voice that doesn't need to be hidden behind the electronic crap. Madonna couldn't sing that well in the world's kindest shower.

Just as bad as the discrimination against heavy people? Come on, YF. That's just silly.

How many kids come home in tears after being teased for being skinny?

  8. Prolly more than half of Lauper's hits came off one album.

Lady Gaga - while as a strange as a Shriner on 'shrooms - is talented.

Lady Gaga earned my respect when she went on Saturday Night Live with this outfit with big silver hoops around her then sat down to play the piano up under and around the hoops.

I thought -- man, if she has the guts to play the piano live with that getup on, she's earned my respect.

She's an entertainer. She's not trying to be the Osmond Family. Cut her some slack.

Also, she doesn't look especially scrawny.

    She ain't scrawny.

She has an ass that could serve as my damn coffee table.

Has some pretty big thighs as well.

And yeah Starman, she's waay more popular than Winehouse will ever be. I'm telling you, she's been all over the charts for two years. Song after song after song. She probably has at least 8 hits so far.

Tiffany has as much talent as both put together.

Another victory for the P.T. Barnumization of culture: bizarre/weird is, in and of itself, indicative of great art.
