LA Times says basketball player dies, even though he is still alive

    Well, yes but I need more than two hands to count the times someone was taken off life support and it was reported they were dead.

    People get that confused and, I think, in this case he had no brain function and they were keeping the body alive for organ harvesting or to Allow time for family members to get there.

    If you don't have brain function but the heart is still beating. You are alive, so it you might as well be dead.
