Too bad Chestnut couldn't relish his victory. I was thinking someone has to ketchup to Joey to make the event watchable if Kobayashi keeps sitting on his buns. This used to be mustard see TV.

I think Mizzougrad 96 is on to something here.

This has the earmarks of a confrontation choreographed by Don King and/or Vince McMahon.

Oh, and I am NOT a conspiracy theorist...

This is a one-day story, it received more play than it merited because it was about the only "live" news that happened on July 4th.

Yeah, on the news last night... the arrest was the footnote.

I came *this* close to saying, "with the arrest, his days of eating dogs may not be over after all".

When in doubt, leave it out. :)

Competitive eating is like cheerleading ... just because it's on the WWL, is it a sport?

When ESPN has the two going dog for dog in prime time for a truckload of $$$, we'll know this was staged.

    This.

  11. Even Nascar fans agree this is not a sport.

The top-level contestants in competitive eating and Texas Hold-Em poker have to be the least likeable "celebrities" in any
    "sport."
