Daily News not invited to news conference introducing draft picks. Pro Basketball Writers Association is not happy.

That kind of stuff has been going on for awhile, since Frank Isola was still at the Daily News.

The odd thing is how many fans side with James Dolan on this. The team has been terrible for 20 years. Tabloid coverage is going to be critical, to say the least.

Shouldn't the NBA step in and do something?

The NBA should step in and keep Dolan away from the team, but he hasn’t been caught on tape sounding like an old racist so that ain’t happening. Just like Dan Snyder and the Redskins, the franchise drags the league down a tad.

One man's opinion, but I like the NBA better when the Knicks are a train wreck.

Someone I know has really good Knicks season tickets. When Oakley was thrown out of the Garden a couple of years back, he liked and commented on a “Free Oakley” post on Facebook. The next day, his relationship guy in the tickets office told him that he should take his comment down because Dolan might find out and cancel his tickets.

Not surprised, based on all the Dolan crap - special emphasis on that last week - out there.

Also tells all of us that he'll gladly that $50K fine again ... in summary, being petty and getting his message across was, in his estimation, well worth the fine.

They fine the guy in Oakland who shoved Kyle Lowry $500K and ban him for a year, but Dolan gets off with 1/10th of that fine and no ban?
    Nice wrist slap.
