Also, I'd definitely take Ken Norton in a fight against Lennox Lewis.

No, America long dropped boxing from its A-list and started producing Ultimate Fighting, backed by ESPN bucks.

Boxing fans are not leaving in droves to watch ultimate fighting. Apples and oranges.

Boxing fans are leaving in droves because boxing has shot itself in the foot too many times.

To me, Holmes is the most underrated heavyweight champ ever. He would have been a top contender in any era. Dynamite jab, terrific right hand, sturdy chin and tough as nails.

He may have not always had great competition to deal with as champ but he also fought Shavers twice as well as Norton and troublesome guys like Mike Weaver and Renaldo Snipes. Lewis never dealt with many guys like that. He either fought smaller guys like Holyfield or spent cannons like Tyson.

When Holmes was supposedly done he handed Ray Mercer his ass when he was supposed to be the next heavyweight badass after nearly killing Tommy Morrison.

A lot of former boxers are now pursuing ultimate fighting. Fan base, anyone?

You would think, but I doubt it. The boxers going over to MMA are ones who aren't having spectacular success in boxing and don't have that strong a fan base.

More likely is former college wrestlers, such as former Penn State national champ Phil Davis.

The three greatest HWT fighting machines are Lewis and both Klitschkos at their best. Simply too big, too strong, too smart, too fast for the likes of Ali, Holmes, Johnson and Tyson. A lot of people don't really understand how good these three were as they were misportrayed by much of the US media. The Klitschkos are largely ignored. Do your research and check out their fights, not just one or two or three, all of them.

    Ken Norton over Lewis ...LOL

Next someone's gonna say 5-11 Joe Frazier could beat Vitali or Wladimir.

Enjoy the fight this weekend, it's going to be spectacular.

I made the mistake of defending this twat when he started posting his biorhythms or whatever they're called. (Read this interview and get preggers!)

Seriously, though, what an insufferable douche.

How's this for logic? One of the top three heavyweights of all-time (according to mrbio) will be in for the fight of his life against David fucking Haye?

Probably thought Joshua Clottey had a puncher's chance against Manny Pacquiao, too.

How much shorter was Dempsey than Jess Willard when he took the title from him?
