Klapisch is Injured

I only saw this thread today and I send my best.

 

I've always loved reading his stuff on Gooden and Strawberry through the years. ...

As a small-timer, Bob was generous and kind with his time and advice.

More prayers to him. I hope this ends with the best-possible scenario.

 

It's great news for Bob and his family... I hope the progress and updates continue to be all positive.

According to a friend of Klap's, the retina was reattached and doctors now give him an 80 percent chance of regaining vision completely. He hopes to be writing from home in "a couple of weeks," then back to the ballpark in September.

Considering what might have been, this is really great new for Klap.
