Love the music, hate the singer's voice.

    I'll check it out.

    Anyone got their new record?

I haven't had a chance to grab it yet but I loved their previous 2 albums.

Can honestly say I've never heard of either, although if the band is popular enough to be on SNL, I'd probably recognize their bigger songs if I heard them.

One of their songs was played at the close of Disturbia

    Love 'em
They are huge in Europe, just gigantic.
But straight of Henderson, Tenn., with super tight pants ...

Saw them live last year - they put on a good show. Pitchfork (I know, hipster douchebags) panned their new album but had some great lines in the review - said the singer "can't see past his own dick" and introduced a theory that cuts this Vikings fan to the core: the Tarvaris Jackson Corollary (although they misspelled it).

"At its best, Only By the Night at least gives the impression that Kings of Leon is actually an interesting band that would be exponentially and immediately improved with someone even average at the controls (call it the Tavaris Jackson Corollary)."
