If you want the definitive Rothstein bio, read David Pietrusza's book. Excellent, excellent work.

There was a bad movie made about this. I think it was called 'The Body.'
Also, I just scanned the first two or three paragraphs, what's the DNA evidence?
They can't have DNA evidence proving the remains are those of Jesus. What are they comparing it to?

That's what I was asking too. There's no way DNA can prove anything.

John D. Villareal's DNA, for starters.

    (Or so he'll say...)

  5. As a defense against the charge of DB'ing this story, can I point out that I started my thread exactly three days after the previous one?
    Hmmmm...

I think that's still technically a DB, but I never check up on the weekend, so I didn't see the other thread.

We had 15 kazillion Anna Nicole and Britney threads. What's wrong with two on Jesus and James Cameron?

Have you ever noticed that you never see Jesus and James Cameron in the same room together?
    I'm just saying.

So, now we've got Jesus' DNA.
What if they clone him? What if that's the second coming?
What if they clone him, and he turns out to be an asshole?

What if they clone him and he said he was kidding?

I'm guessing the DNA proves the people in the boxes were related. Then, if you accept that it was actually Jesus, you'll believe that he, in fact, had a son, and by extension that he married Mary Magdalene.

That's the only way I can see DNA being of any use here, other than so the commercials can spout, "Producer James Cameron has found Jesus' remains, AND HE HAS DNA TO GO WITH IT!"
