I have many favorite KOTHs.... love the one where they take in the hooker from Oklahoma City.
And two Bill favorites - the one where he meets his Cajun cousins (and Hank gets screwed over by Don Meredith in one of those "toss it in the big can for $100,000 promotions at halftime of a Cowboys game" and, of course, the BillDozer episode. A classic.

And the one where Arlen floods and Bill becomes the shelter leader. Another classic.

ABC could pick up KOTH. That network's shows are in the crapper anyway.

Are you kidding? ABC scrapped a great show of its own in Eli Stone. Those execs aren't smart enough to pick up another brilliant show. It would be a great replacement for Private Practice. Scrap that crap and run KOTH before or after Grey's Anatomy.

At one point ABC was talked up as a possible destination for KOTH, but they shot that down in January, which was probably the show's last gasp.

But Futurama is coming back as a first-run series on Comedy Central, so nothing stopping them or adult swim from doing something.

What happened to the Goode Family, Judge's other show on ABC? Did it bomb?
Saw a few episodes and it was OK, except the running joke about the vegetarian dog eating all of the neighborhood pets. That part was awesome.

As for KOTH coming back... as good as it was, maybe after 12 or 13 years it was just time?

On the one hand, there were ways to move the franchise along that would have made sense and not completely fucked with the show (Bobby goes to Arlen High, Hank gets promoted to manager of Strickland Propane, Bill leaves the Army and has to find a real job [did that already happen? I forget]). On the other hand, the show was doing what shows that overstay their welcome are apt to do -- add crappy characters that mess everything up (like Tom Petty, don't mind Lucky once in a while, can't abide by Lucky as a cast regular).

In other Beavis and Butt-head spinoff/sorta spinoff news: Daria will be released to DVD in 2010. Tell Songbird he can stop searching for Quinn Morgendorfer.
