    He re-signs with the Mariners for the richest pitcher contract in MLB history.

    $175 million goes a lot farther in Seattle than it does in NYC.

    He's way too good anyway. It's a much better fit for the Yankees to give $130 million to Lincecum and watch his career circle the drain.

    Noooooooooo!! Timmy is electric; charismatic, something that is not easily replaced. (Of course you don't pay $20M/yr for a "super reliever.")

    I don't know if the Yankees would take another Mariners pitcher after getting debacled in the Pineda deal.
