    For me the music and beats are more important than what is actually being rapped.

    I love PE and wore those casettes out but despite Chuck D's awesome voice, if there had not been so many great beats and musicality to their songs I am not sure I would have loved it as much.

    I am not as into the technical rapping as I am into the package that is around it. It is one of the reasons I can listen to so much Dre, not the greatest rapper but the music and beats are fantastic.

    Also really good point Verse made about Flavor Flav. He was the right mix to bring the party mood to PE, can't do nuthing for ya man is a great interlude to lighten things up.
