This has to be a joke.

No fucking way Cuban would pull that. Harris (who right now is out with a bone bruise) is finally blossoming, and Stackhouse is the only real tough guy on a squad full of jump-shooters. The Mavs were awful when Kidd was here and they'll be awful again.

They'd be worse now. They don't have George McCloud or Tony Dumas.

I think Kidd is an upgrade for the Mavericks if they want to win NOW. If they want to win in a year or two, this is a stupid deal. Terry is only getting older and Harris is a decent point guard who is turning a corner. If they pull the trigger on this deal, they will be forcing Harris into a team with four bona fide PGs.

As long as Cuban keeps Toni Braxton away, Kidd will make the Mavs better.

Why are the Blazers getting involved in this?

    Is Harris worth this reshuffle?

Maybe he is the PG they need for next season? Harris, Roy, Oden, Aldridge, Webster... That does look pretty good for the next 5-7 years.

Yeah, they should tade for him. I just talked myself into that.

If I were a Blazers fan ... hell yeah. Harris is going to be a fine PG for the next 10 years.

Which is exactly why Cuban would be out of his nut to approve this trade.

The Blazers, if this trade goes through, will now have Blake, Harris and Jack at the PG spot. They can only do so much reshuffling before they need to sacrifice the SF spot.
