    You know what? Cum on Feel the Noise was - and is - almost irresistable. If you grew up around then, you could sing every lyric (I know I still can). We should all be so lucky to craft one thing that we could say the same thing about.

    Except that he didn't write the tune. It was written by Noddy Holder and Jim Lea of Slade and was a big hit for them in the UK in the early 70s.

    The Runaways drummer died last year. And Lita Ford's career flatlined 17 years ago.

    But Slade is still alive.

    Don't fucking sing Slade at karaoke. You might get hit by a train.

    Back in my radio days, I did an interview with him. He was a cool guy to someone from a dinky smalltown station that might have sold a few hundred LPs for him.

    Yes, LPs. It was a long time ago.
