What did the school entice him with? Remote controlled cars?

Great quote from the kid's dad.

"That's the funny thing. We've got our college. Now we need our high school."

Nothing bad could ever come of this. Never. Not ever.

The kid will never step foot in Kentucky, unless the McDonald's All-American game comes here his senior year.

  7. USC got a commitment from an eighth-grader last summer, and the kid, Ryan Boatwright, hadn't picked his high school yet, either. These are great times we're living in.

Local kid committed to Bob Knight at Texas Tech when he was a freshman. Finished his high school career, went to Tech and disappeared. Last I heard he was averaging 10 points and six boards a game at East Central Oklahoma.

Are the best eighth graders always or almost always the best 12th-graders? A lot can happen between now and then.

    This is so stupid.
I'm going to put my 2-year-old nephew up on a podium and have him slip on an Oklahoma football hat and see if anyone will cover the story.
