I also liked the bit about how Mayne's issues at work are ruining Scott Van Pelt's family life.

 

The other videos -- all the HR interviews -- are pretty damn funny, too.

That's the first work Mayne has done in quite some time that didn't make we want to put a fork in my eye.

I'd like to do terrible (not violent, even legal in some states) things to that producer woman. Just sayin'.

 

A few years back, Mayne and his crew showed up to the team I was covering and wanted to do one of their idiotic bits.

They asked for three specific players to be in the "skit" all three told the PR staff that there was no way in hell they were doing it. They wound up with the longsnapper, a guy who had just been bumped up for the practice squad and a player who wants to be an announcer so badly that he probably would have done anything for a few seconds on ESPN.

Mayne was rude to the PR staff and the skit was so ridiculously awful that even Berman made fun of it on the pregame show.

Glad to see he's doing better work.

 

Of course he was rude to the PR staff ... he's a TV fuck.
