Ken Burns' "The Tenth Inning" on PBS

    Just finished the first part, with Part II to air tomorrow. Good stuff.

    Part I covered the 1994 strike, Cal Ripken, Torre Yankees, dominance of Latin players and the 1998 home run chase (including the Steve Wilstein/andro controversy). I'm sure Part II will deal largely with steroids, with the Red Sox championships and Moneyball sprinkled in.

    Burns dedicated part I to Buck O'Neil, which was a nice touch.

    Anybody else watch it?

    Covering middle school football tonight, and completely forgot this on. Anyone know when it re-airs?

    Covering football AND the local college team? That would make you the hardest working writer in my state.... especially if you have to do it on one of your two days off.
