"Jesus Take The Wheel" was the most beautiful song of 2006, IMO.

Her mtv performance from a year ago (wait, might have been two) was like a huge coming out party for her. It might not have been that great live because she sounded drunk as hell, but it was good to watch..

meh couldn't really find any of that event...

My wife loves the Clarkson, and I finally took notice when she transformed from "just another pop princess" looks to "skanky rock chick" looks. I got my wife concert tickets and took a small pair of field glasses. I swear those hip huggers were so low that I saw the Clarkson's ass crack.

    Skanky.

Don't hold it against Ayla that her father (politician/radio talker) and to a lesser extent her mother (TV reporter) are gravy-training her.

And "Before He Cheats" is a great track. It's been No. 1 in Billboard for the past six weeks, the same number of weeks "Jesus" was there. "Don't Forget To Remember" hit No. 2 in between. She's just dominating country radio right now, much to the displeasure of Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes and friends.

LeAnn Rimes hasn't had an album out in over a year, I believe.

But yea, Carrie Underwood is completely dominating the genre right now.

I actually see a mix of Martin Short and Willy Wonka.
