Not for nothing, but just a word of advise to all you "youngins" . You can say almost anything you want to spnited but don't say anything that could be misconstrued as disparaging comment about his Mets.

BTW spnited - I think its spelled "SENTENCE" not SENTECE.

You can make all the disparaging comments you want about the Mets...I'm not a fan boy looser like some of our Cleveland brethren.

There are about 10,000 more important things in my life than the Mets or any other sports team.

    Boom catching my typo...classic!

As long as we keep it to NIT and 70s hoops and avoid the politics, we're good.

Hopefully both teams will do better than they did last year.

How about the White Sox taking up residence in the cellar for a bit? :D

Good to see Schwaby got the story last night on WTAM... for some unexplained reason, I like him.

Anyway, thanks TSP for putting it in a separate thread last night, because a) I'm not a huge baseball fan so I wouldn't have checked the hot stove thread and b) I was able to send a heads up to my buddy in Houston.

Oh, and Oz... If the Royals turn out to be the 2007 Tigers, I'll wear black and gold for a week in November.

See, at least Junkie came up with a good reason for this thread as opposed to it's big news in motherfucking Cleveland.

Sure he will. How else is he going to sleep with the Red Sox ballgirls?

Not that I need to justify myself, but I am by no means a Cleveland fanboy. Cavs? Yes, I like 'em.

Couldn't give two shits about Foulke, the Indians, or the Browns. Or the Monsters. Or the Barons. Or the Crunch. (RIP.)

But that doesn't change the fact that others, outside Cleveland, care, despite what the board's omnipotent 94-year-old says.

    Go fist yourself spirited.

Fact: this is THE sports story in Cleveland today. It's what everyone's talking about. Only one person in town had it last night, Mark Schwab of WTAM. He destroyed his competition. Local papers totally missed it.
