None now. Used to get Sports Illustrated, ESPN the mag, Time and Newsweek. Eventually dropped all of them because it seemed like I didn't have the time to read/look at them anymore. Roomie dropped her two mags for pretty mucht the same reason: No time to read them.

Only magazine I get in dead tree edition is National Review, although I'm likely going to end up getting that through my Kindle now that I have one.

Used to subscribe to SI, but ran out of time to read it and ran out of money to pay for it :). I read all of the local papers online -- using my employer's subscription to get around the local metro's paywall (we also used to get the hard copies through NIE, which as the local school's journalism teacher, I would hoard), and my wife's complimentary subscription to the local daily.

I canceled ESPN The Mag in January. But they still insist on sending it to me.

It goes right into the trash. But they keep their circ numbers propped up, I guess.

    SI
ESPN the Magazine (with my insider subscription)
    The New YORKER
    Atlantic
    Business Week
    Forbes
    Fortune
    The New Yorker
    Esquire
    Vanity Fair
    GQ
    Wired
    The Economist

A lot of these subscriptions are driven by by rationale that if I can get something for a buck an issue I will subscribe.

And the two that I would recommend as good values are the New Yorker and Vanity Fair. The New Yorker is about $40 a year they still can print really good articles. And Vanity Fair is a buck an issue and can have an outsanding articles. Michael Lewis alone makes Vanity Fair worth the investment.

None. I read everything for free online.

I'll buy the NYT or WaPo if I take the train into NYC, but otherwise it's all online.

Mrs. Joe gets some kind of referee magazine through membership.

We have from time to time gotten SI, ESPN Mag, Sporting News when deals were offered, but do not take any of them currently.

    Sports Illustrated
    Texas Monthly
Esquire (every few years I re-up for the $6 or whatever, then wish I hadn't)
Wired (previous homeowners got it and it's still coming)
    Golf Magazine
    Golf Digest
    GolfWeek
Golf World (OK, I'm a golf junkie)
    My local paper
    NYT digital edition

Only Texas Monthly is read cover to cover every time. Over the years I've wanted to cut the cord with SI, but after 30 years it's too ingrained.

Interesting to see so many fellow dead-tree readers out there.

For me, when I get done with a night on the copy desk, I don't want to stare at a screen any more.

It's easier to wind down with a magazine or a book before going to bed.

    (Yeah, I'm getting old) :)
