    Yes, that brief moment in "The Gift" made the movie worth it.... As for the conspiracy - wouldn't surprise me. I also find the whole Tom-Katie marriage a bit creepy. When they were dating, I once heard someone call it a "public kidnapping". Tend to agree.

    They are absolutely real. I'd bet cash money on it. Their, uh, development was clear early on.

    And there's no way she would fake running the marathon. As someone said, negligible upside to running it, apocolyptic downside if she got caught.

    Brasky, you're right. Of all Cruise's atrocities, the greatest might be zombifying the ultimate girl-next-door dreamgirl.
