Kansas' national title might be in danger (but probably not)

According to a Dallas TV station, Kansas' Darrell Arthur had grades changed to remain eligible in high school, and it was in an algebra class that was requisite to his college eligibility. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this. How ironic would it be if Memphis inherited a "national championship" because the other team had to vacate?

So, how far down the list are we going to have to go to find an actual national champ for last year?

As a residual benefit of this development, TigerBoard will be reduced to internet rubble within the hour.

Not sure how this is Kansas' problem.

Maybe someone can go into more details here, but what exactly did Kansas do wrong here? Arthur may not have passed some high school classes, yet the NCAA cleared him to play? And why is the high school only now reporting it instead of, say, right after Arthur graduated?

Nothing will happen to Kansas. This is an Oak Cliff South problem.

Sounds like Arthur's grades were given the Moten Swing. But yeah, I can't see how KU can be held responsible for South Oak Cliff's FRAUD.

    Completely true. :D

But the Big 12 fan boards on their worst days still seem highbrow compared to that of the top SEC teams on a regular day.

Kansas' national title is no more in danger than J.J. "play-me-or-trade-me" Redick was of ever making a clutch jump shot in March when he played for Duke.
