It's been enlightening seeing how hard people are willing to work to find a reason to dismiss Kaepernick.

    It's not that hard.

I've been listening to and reading his post-debate and post-election rundowns. He's a fucking idiot.

    No, he really isn't.

Mostly, he just leaves himself open to easy shots from people who are looking for reasons to discount him. He doesn't seem to care too much about that, though.

Eh, six of one, half-dozen of the other.

    Go Fidel. Viva La Revolucion.

For example: he didn't actually praise Castro, but he made it easy for people to pretend he did so they could dismiss him.

Why should his opinion have any more meaning or weight than anyone else in the country? By virtue of his training, education and experience? It's an opinion, no more or less informed, enlightened and reasoned than 280 million other Americans( those 16 or older)

It's not a matter of dismissing him, but dismissing anyone who finds special depth or substance in Kaepernick's opinions. He's no more worthy of being listened to for race relations than Mr Peterson is for child rearing.

Good. He can go ruin the Giants' chemistry in 2017.
