So one of you is criticizing him for going too far - and the other is criticizing him for not doing anything.

It doesn't matter what he says or does.

Kaep is not the best at getting his message across; I faulted him for failing to vote and doing it in a subtle slightly passive/aggressive way, but he did get a message across, don't forget about the incidents of police brutality. He paid dearly for taking that stance and getting his message across.

Candidly, he's done more to raise social consciousness about an issue in the US and sacrificed more than I have ever done or will and I venture the vast majority of those on this board and everyone else criticizing him in the US. Let's at least be honest.

He got paid dearly, too. Nike ain't paying him for nothing.

He has some good causes - the suits initiative, for example.

Let's be clear, he was filthy rich before the Nike contract.
    I don't like him and I don't have to.
This is the problem with woke culture.

They made him an offer he had to refuse.
And they knew their Trumpist media brethren, Clay Trumpist and Jason Whitlock in various parts of the Fox-branded universe, would be giddy in their mockery.
The other thing working against Kaepernick today is tanking. Not so long ago, a team like the Jets or Dolphins might have said, "We've got a shot to go 9-7 and make the playoffs if we sign this guy. He's better than what we have now."
No longer. Today, the bad don't want to get better. They want to get worse.

    No, he's not.

Unless you think internet troll Barry McCockiner is a solid source.

My bad. I denounce myself AND blame soccer.

Although this would be very Jets.

I don't understand why people on this board can't use the least bit of common sense before posting a tweet here.

    A tweet from Dr. McCockiner.
