As much as NFL owners are schmucks, as a general proposition, they were smart enough to tell Donald to go fuck himself. So as bad as Jerry Richardson was, he’s still better than trump defenders.

 

I just meant that it would seem that Trump's outrage over the kneeling wasn't so much about a great love of the military or police, but had more to do with his racial views. I still think that's what is behind it - but it might give the NFL an out, not wanting to seem like they're carrying water for a racist.

ESPN will not televise National Anthem on MNF.

Hope Fox and CBS follow suit.

The NFL should have tried to have networks stop showing the anthem last year.
