Jerry Jones says that contrary to NFL policy (itself in abeyance) no Cowboys will be allowed to stay in locker room for anthem. What if they all do? What if just Elliott and Prescott do?

 

That would be awesome.

 

Particularly if they wait till the regular season opener to do it.

 

All it would take to make the owners turn tail and run is if the marquee quarterbacks — Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson, Newton, Dak — all took a knee or raised a fist or stayed in the locker room. Pretty sure none of those guys are getting suspended unless they're caught on video smacking around a woman while watching a dogfight.

And, fuck Jerry Jones.

The saddest part is that someone with a larger platform and audience felt the need to cover this.

 

I've posted this before, but I had people in the Florida Panhandle 25-plus years ago telling me about Jerry Jones bringing Cowboys cheerleaders down there for play time.
