So how many thought Harry Potter was real and were looking forward to the Quiditch Cup?
Really not surprised at all. It seems every few months or so another survey comes out that says 98 per cent of kids in such and such a state can't find their home town on a map.
How many Americans really believe Canadian grow up in Igloos, or that there is snow year round up here?
Not that we Canadians are any better. I've dealt with enough retards up here to know that we aren't by any means special.

  2. Not to be a downer, but I'd say Britain hit bottom in the years 1844-47.
Of course, they hit it in Ireland.

GB...I certainly share your sympathies. However, please don't think that yours is th only country plagued by this. The U.S. is, unfortunately, as bad or worse than that.

The Soviets were on Germany's side. For a little while anyway.

Over? Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell, no!

Yeah, but for crying out loud this in Great Britain. Land of Hope and Glory. Home of two of the greatest seats of learning, Cambridge and Oxford University. The last major empire.

    It's just awfully disappointing.

First they fail to qualify for Euro 2008, now this.

The only hope is Fabio Capello.
