Just One Night in New York

So, on a very short timeline, I am going to a night game at Yankee Stadium and then a day game the next day.

My one and only question: Where do I and two buddies drink after the night game? About the only thing that matters is dress code because we'll be in shorts and t-shirts. Other than that, I'm up for a good bar serving cold beer with the west coast games showing.

Start rattling off your choice of bar in NYC!

And only 100 blocks away too. Can't beat that for all-around value.

I'm presuming he's staying in Manhattan. Most people don't visit NYC and stay in the Bronx.

I was kidding, since each suggestion was farther away from Yankee Stadium.

Bed-Stuy and Red Hook are lovely this time of year.

Manhattan.. walk into a bar, any bar,.. there are about a million of them.

And yes, Hoboken is cheaper and a hell of a lot more fun... if you know how to get there via PATH.
