I went to one of the last few games at Shea last year. I saw a rat. I mean, actual vermin.

Anything has to be better than that.

Uh, I'm guessing you don't spend much time on the subways? This last trip there was the FIRST time I've been to NYC and not seen a rat in a subway station.

Oh, you expect them in the subways. That is their home. I did not expect them in the left field bleachers.

It was Shea. I'm pretty sure that was their home too.

Apparently. Which, again, is why anything has to be better than that.

Obviously, SomeGuy has never been to the old Boston Garden. old Chcago Stadium. Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, or a handful of other old arenas and stadiums where rats were regular occupants.

Good thing we won't need to see a 2009 playoff sign in that mix...HEYO!

Madison Square Garden and Giants Stadium, too. I've seen rats in each, as well. Basically any place there is food and a ton of people.

And don't forget Angel Stadium a few years ago:

The Sports Arena, downtown L.A., has rats the size of mountain lions.
