    Even if a voter chose to keep Davis, that voter also voted from the list of replacements.

    There you go. I guess that's the reasonable compromise to keep from incurring the expense of having to run two elections.

    I don't doubt that Walker could win the recall election. But any spin that tries to turn it into a mandate for his governorship will be laughable. A governor from either party that finds himself in a recall election has fucked up royally.

    Scott Walker is avoiding all Republican presidential candidates, even though (or because of) their effusive praise for him.

    Given that polls show Romney being crushed by Obama at the moment, I guess I can understand why Walker doesn't want to be seen with anyone insisting on talking up all the great things the governor has done for Wisconsin.
