How will the league be better if the players lose?

  3. Well, Potter was right. Did you see how dull Bedford Falls was with George Bailey running things? I mean, there had to be some kind of happy medium. Pottersville turned into a dump, but I'd rather live in a town that actually had something happening.

  4. The rookie salaries are out of control, and in the players' suit, they mention the draft and franchise tags as unfair practices. If the players win, this could easily spiral into the mess that baseball became.

A hungry, abused dog player will fight harder and produce a superior level of competition.

Great. I thought one oop was too much. Now there's two.

You actually think losing the draft would be a good thing?

The best thing that could come of this is a return to the old status quo. If the NFL owners hadn't been assholes about this, they probably could have gotten that with a rookie wage scale. Now, it looks like they may have gambled and lost.

    Now you did it.

Why don't you poke Martin too and see if you can get him in on this?

You really thought I wasn't going to join in the conversation about this one?

I'm still waiting for secretariat to actually answer the question, though. Does he think the elimination of the draft would be a good thing?

Scott Boras realizes that someone somewhere just wrote the words "elimination of the draft" and headed into the bedroom with his wife.
