My brother attended a JUCO his first two years as a full-ride pitcher. And then got a full-ride to a D-II school. So it does happen.

Of course, neither school had a football team.

Indeed. So much for hoping Huggy Jr. gets a full ride baseball scholly to save his old man a few bob on his education.

He could have gotten a full ride to a D-II school, but not on athletic scholarship only. That's the whole point of Division II - not to give full rides.

Is that JUCO or NCAA? He's talking about NCAA here.

I ran track and cross country at a JUCO in Kansas and was on full scholarship. If I'd have gone to one of the NCAA D-II schools that recruited me, I might have gotten about 1/16 of a full ride.
