    I believe that's because up until recent years, the way they got "celebrities" was, "Hey, who happens to be in town this weekend?"

    I remember somebody did an article during the 90s about how he searched and found that Joyce DeWitt didn't have a website, so he took it and then called her to ask about it. I think the writer gave her joycedewitt.com at the end of the article.

    Yes, she looks to have been overserved in that mugshot, but she also looks more than a little pissed off. I'd like to see what she looks like cleaned up with a touch of makeup. I bet she's much better looking than most 60-year-olds.

  12. Covering the 500 n the mid-'90s, I remember one of the Indy Star columnists poking fun at the Indy Parade Committee, identifying them as the only group that still considered Martin Milner an 'A' list star.
